TERASEAL™ 365 is a high-performance, reactive silane-based hydrophobizing impregnation developed for long-lasting protection of porous mineral and cementitious surfaces. It is designed to penetrate deep into the substrate’s pore and capillary network and react with surface hydroxyl groups, forming a durable hydrophobic barrier inside the substrate rather than as a surface film. This internal protection helps keep façades, concrete structures, and masonry drier for longer, reducing water-driven deterioration mechanisms.
Unlike conventional coatings that can block breathability, TERASEAL™ 365 maintains the natural water-vapor permeability of mineral substrates, helping moisture escape while preventing new water ingress. By minimizing water uptake, it also helps limit the transport of dissolved salts and contaminants that contribute to efflorescence, staining, freeze–thaw damage, and reinforcement corrosion risks. The treatment is typically invisible after curing and supports a clean, natural appearance of the surface when applied correctly.
