PZ 1000 is a polysilazane-based “diamond-like” nano coating engineered to deliver an ultra-hard, stain-resistant, easy-clean protective finish for ceramics, sanitaryware, and other smooth mineral surfaces. It is an air-dried coating that forms a dense inorganic–organic network with exceptionally high crosslink density, giving 6H pencil hardness and excellent resistance to daily wear, cleaning, and staining agents.
At its core, polysilazane chemistry converts on exposure to ambient moisture into a tightly bonded SiSi / Si–N / Si–O network, which further evolves into a silica-like (SiOₓ) hard layer on the surface. This nano-scale film anchors strongly to ceramic/glazed substrates, delivering a durable barrier with high surface hardness and chemical resistance. The result is a “diamond-like” hard-coat effect that is particularly useful for high-touch and wet-area ceramic applications.
PZ 1000 delivers strong anti-stain and marking resistance, including blue ink resistance, making it suitable for surfaces prone to pen/marker contamination in public and commercial environments. Its durability profile is designed to be longer-lasting than PTFE-type coatings, with superior hardness and better retention under repetitive cleaning and abrasion. The low-energy surface also supports easy-clean hygiene benefits, helping reduce soil anchoring and enabling longer intervals between deep-clean cycles.
Polysilazane Diamond Coating / Nano Hard-Coat / Silazane Ceramic Protector / High-Hardness Clear Coat
Clear nano coating (ready-to-use)
Air-dried (ambient cure)
6H pencil hardness (typical)
Blue ink resistance, improved wear/abrasion durability
Longer durability than PTFE in many cleaning & abrasion conditions
10–30 mL/m² (depends on surface porosity & application method)
Creates an ultra-hard easy-clean layer to reduce staining, cleaning effort, and wear from frequent washing.
Ideal for ceramic fixtures and touch areas where scratch resistance, ink resistance, and long-term durability are required.
Improves resistance to pen marks, grime build-up, and harsh cleaning routines in high-footfall locations.
Upgrades surface durability and stain resistance, helping maintain appearance retention over longer periods.
Improves protection against dirt pick-up and surface scuffing while keeping a transparent finish.
Enhances gloss retention and reduces cleaning labor where surfaces must remain spotless.

Provides a tough “diamond-like” hard coat that resists scratches and surface wear.
No high-temperature curing required; suitable for post-process application on finished ceramic parts.
Helps resist pen/marker staining—critical for public and commercial areas.
Designed for superior hardness and better retention under repetitive cleaning and abrasion.
Reduced soil anchoring supports faster cleaning, less scrubbing, and improved cleanliness perception.
Nano-thin layer maintains the ceramic’s natural appearance when applied correctly.
Daily to every 2–3 days (depending on traffic); coating makes this faster and more effective.
Often shifts from every 2–3 days to every 5–10 days depending on water hardness and usage.
Often reduced from weekly to every 2–4 weeks in many installations (validate by site trials).
(Actual intervals depend on water hardness, soap chemistry, usage, and cleaning SOP.)
Gloves + goggles; avoid contact with eyes/skin.
Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Use suitable mask/respirator if spraying.
Follow SDS for flammability/flash point.
Absorb with inert material; avoid drains; dispose per local rules.
Final hazard classification, first-aid, and compliance per product SDS.
