FC-106 is a fluorinated polymeric surface control additive engineered to deliver exceptional wetting, levelling, and gloss enhancement in epoxy coating systems applied on granite, marble, and natural stone surfaces.
It works by significantly lowering surface tension at the coating–substrate interface, enabling epoxy systems to spread uniformly, anchor effectively, and form defect-free films on dense, low-energy stone substrates.
In stone epoxy applications—where polished granite, resin-treated slabs, or compact natural stones often cause beading, poor flow, fisheyes, or uneven gloss—FC-106 provides a reliable solution to achieve smooth, high-gloss, professional finishes with improved coating consistency.

Enables epoxy coatings to spread uniformly on polished granite and low-porosity stones.
Improves levelling and film flow, resulting in a smoother, higher-gloss appearance.
Minimizes fisheyes, craters, pinholes, and poor edge wetting caused by surface tension imbalance.
Supports uniform coating build and reduces rework caused by coating defects.
Delivers strong performance at ppm-level addition without altering bulk coating properties.
Helps formulators achieve consistent, showroom-grade stone finishes.
Exact dosage depends on epoxy formulation, solvent content, and substrate condition. Always validate through lab and field trials.
Dosage: 0.01 – 0.10% on total formulation (100–1000 ppm)
Dosage: 0.02 – 0.08% on total formulation
Note: Over-dosage may reduce intercoat adhesion or cause surface slip; optimal dosing is critical.
