YY 240 F

YY 240 F is a non-fluorine, high-performance conformal coating developed specifically for moisture proofing and insulation protection of electronic assemblies. It forms a thin, uniform protective film that effectively shields electronic circuits from water, humidity and environmental contaminants while maintaining excellent electrical insulation properties.

Unlike conventional fluorinated coatings, YY 240 F achieves outstanding water repellency, chemical resistance and thermal stability without using fluorine chemistry, making it a more environmentally considerate solution for modern electronics manufacturing.

The coating exhibits excellent liquid repellency even at low film thickness, ensuring reliable protection without altering component dimensions or performance.

YY 240 F is designed to prevent insulation degradation, corrosion and electromigration failures, which are common causes of short circuits in moisture-exposed electronic systems. It is suitable for a wide range of electronics operating under high humidity, condensation and temperature stress conditions.

Why Non-Fluorine Conformal Coatings Are Important

Traditional fluorinated coatings provide strong water repellency but increasingly face regulatory, environmental and sustainability concerns. YY 240 F addresses these challenges by delivering comparable or superior moisture-proof performance without fluorine, while offering excellent heat resistance, electrical reliability and long-term durability.

This makes YY 240 F especially suitable for electronics manufacturers seeking high reliability, compliance readiness and long service life.
