iM30K Hollow Glass Microspheres are ultra-high strength, hollow spherical glass particles engineered for the most extreme pressure, load-bearing and mechanically demanding applications. Manufactured from advanced soda-lime borosilicate glass using precision-controlled processes, iM30K delivers exceptionally high isostatic crush strength, making it one of the strongest hollow glass microsphere grades available.
Despite their very high strength, iM30K microspheres still provide effective lightweighting compared to solid mineral fillers, enabling reduced density without compromising structural integrity. Their uniform spherical morphology ensures excellent flow, stable rheology and consistent dispersion in polymers, composites, cementitious systems, coatings, adhesives and sealants.
The ultra-high crush strength of iM30K glass bubbles allows them to withstand extreme processing pressures during extrusion, injection molding and compounding, as well as very high hydrostatic pressures encountered in deep-well oil & gas, subsea and defense environments. This makes iM30K particularly suitable for critical applications where lower-strength microspheres cannot survive, and where long-term mechanical reliability is essential.
