FLINK 7000 is a clear, colorless engineered heat-transfer fluid developed for very low-temperature cooling and dielectric thermal management in high-performance industrial and electronics systems.
Built on HFE-7000 chemistry (1-methoxyheptafluoropropane), it delivers stable thermal behavior where conventional glycol, hydrocarbon, or silicone fluids become too viscous, unstable, or risky.
It is especially valued in applications that demand rapid temperature pull-down, tight thermal control, and consistent circulation through small channels, pumps, and heat exchangers. Because it also provides excellent electrical insulation, it can be used around sensitive electronics and high-voltage environments where conductive coolants are not acceptable.
FLINK 7000 is very low pour point supports operation in deep sub-zero conditions, enabling equipment reliability in extreme cold loops and test chambers. The fluid is non-flammable and non-corrosive, helping reduce safety concerns and protecting system metallurgy.
FLINK 7000 is also non-ozone depleting, aligning with sustainability expectations in many modern manufacturing environments. With a well-balanced set of thermal, physical, and dielectric properties, it is a practical choice for both process cooling and precision temperature-control platforms.

Achieves surface tension below 20 mN/m, enabling rapid wetting and perfect film formation even on very low-energy substrates.
Ensures excellent coverage on PE, PP, PTFE, EVA, rubber, oily surfaces, and contaminated substrates where conventional surfactants fail.
Eliminates defects like fisheyes, orange peel, and crater formation by improving flow and spreading in both water-borne and solvent-borne systems.
Shows >10% solubility in water, alcohols, ketones, esters, and aromatics—ensuring easy incorporation into diverse coating systems.
Delivers strong performance at 0.05–0.1%, reducing formulation cost while providing superior wetting and flow characteristics.
Compatible with acrylics, PU, epoxy, UV systems, inks, adhesives, and resin blends without interfering with curing or recoatability.
Boosts primer and topcoat adhesion on EVA, plastics, rubber goods, and difficult polymer surfaces by enabling uniform substrate wetting.
Maintains strong wetting performance in harsh processing conditions, high-solids systems, and elevated temperatures.
Improves print sharpness, coating uniformity, and film smoothness by minimizing pinholes, micro-bubbles, and surface irregularities.
Ensures uniform film spread and defect-free leveling even in fast-curing or high-viscosity formulations.
FLINK 7000 is generally compatible with metals, glass, ceramics, and many hard/machinable polymers. For elastomers and soft polymers, compatibility can vary due to possible plasticizer extraction and/or fluid absorption, which may affect hardness or dimensions. Always validate compatibility with the exact grades used under your operating conditions.
Not classified as flammable under normal handling. Product is not regulated for transport and does not present explosive hazard in typical use.
Chemically stable under recommended storage and normal conditions of use. Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents and extreme heat to prevent decomposition.
Low volatility liquid; inhalation risk is mainly from mist or aerosols. Prolonged breathing of vapors/mist may cause respiratory irritation. Use ventilation when spraying.
May cause mild to moderate irritation on prolonged contact. Avoid direct eye contact; rinse immediately with clean water if splashed.
Wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles/face shield, and suitable protective clothing. When spraying or handling in confined areas, use appropriate respirator and ensure local exhaust ventilation.
Contain spill to prevent spreading. Absorb with inert material (sand, vermiculite, absorbent pads). Collect into labeled container for disposal as per local regulations. Prevent entry into drains or surface water.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep containers tightly closed to avoid contamination and moisture ingress.
Use extinguishing media suitable for surrounding fire (water fog, foam, dry chemical, CO₂). Firefighters should wear SCBA and protective gear. Decomposition fumes may be irritating; avoid inhalation.
Typically 24 months from manufacture when stored in original, unopened packaging at around 21 °C and 50% RH.
Supplied in 20 kg pails with sealed lids to ensure product stability and prevent contamination during storage and handling.
Available in 1 kg and 5 kg packs for laboratory use, sampling, R&D trials, and small-scale production requirements.
