K-15 Hollow Glass Microspheres are low-density, hollow spherical glass particles engineered to provide an optimal balance between weight reduction and mechanical strength. Manufactured from soda-lime borosilicate glass, K-15 microspheres feature higher crush strength than ultra-low density grades while still delivering significant lightweighting benefits across construction, polymer, automotive and industrial formulations.
The spherical morphology of K-15 enables excellent flow, reduced viscosity build-up and improved dispersion compared to conventional mineral fillers. K-15 Hollow Glass Microspheres are chemically inert, non-combustible and compatible with cementitious systems, thermoset and thermoplastic resins, coatings, adhesives and sealants. This grade is particularly suited for applications requiring durability, dimensional stability and moderate load-bearing capability without excessive weight increase.
